ClipTalk MCP
Connect an MCP client to ClipTalk to plan, generate and edit videos, then retrieve the result. This is a hosted service with OAuth sign-in; generation and editing use account credits.
Start with the current requirements ↓What it helps you do
Choose it when you want to move from a video brief to a planned script, rendered output and follow-up edits within an agent conversation. Documented tasks include creating videos, changing captions or scenes, importing media and querying render results.
plan_from_template and estimate_cost are documented planning tools that create nothing and charge nothing. Rendering, generation and edits are distinct operations. A good first request is to propose one short video and show the plan and credit cost before generating it.
Costs and access requirements
A free account can be created, but account creation does not establish free generation. The README pricing section describes credit-based generation and editing. Use get_credits, estimate_cost or a template plan to inspect the balance and quoted cost before approving a job. We do not promise a fixed credits-per-video price; the selected format and work determine the quote. Check current plans at ClipTalk.
Documented setup
Add the remote Streamable HTTP server:
https://www.cliptalk.pro/mcp
For Claude Code, the repository documents:
claude mcp add --transport http cliptalk https://www.cliptalk.pro/mcp
Use the client's MCP sign-in flow and authorize your ClipTalk account. The server runs remotely; the repository contains documentation, manifests and task skills rather than the complete hosted video backend.
Check your first result
After approving a job, keep its identifier, check its status and retrieve the actual MP4/download link when complete. Watch the output for script accuracy, captions, voice and usable framing. A completed status is not evidence that the video meets your publishing needs.
Only import media you may use and send to the service. OAuth grants access to your ClipTalk account; some edits overwrite video state or consume credits. If a request times out, check the original job before starting another. No video was generated for this listing.
What this listing covers
This is a free editorial listing based on public documentation and source inspection, not a security certification or a hands-on product review. Your AI client can have separate subscription or model usage charges. Check the linked product terms before connecting an account or running billable work.
